The Eye Behind Maison Oreá

I spent a decade in the world of high finance — a world that taught me, above everything else, how the truly discerning live. Not loudly, but with intention. Every object chosen. Every space considered. Every piece of art a quiet declaration of who you are.

It was there that I began to understand what art really does. Not decorate. Not fill a wall. But hold something — a feeling, a memory, a version of yourself you want to come home to.

For the past five years, I have immersed myself in that understanding. Walking the galleries of Singapore and the museums of Europe and Asia. Learning the stories behind the brushstrokes. Watching how light changes a canvas, how a single painting can change a room, how a room can change how you feel about your life.

Friends began asking me to help them choose. Then their friends. Then strangers who had seen what I had chosen for someone else.

Maison Oreá grew from those conversations.

I believe that art is personal. Deeply, unapologetically personal. There is no correct taste. No wrong instinct. No one who has the right to tell you what beauty should look like in your own home.

Every person carries within them a different definition of beauty — and that is not a problem to be solved. It is the whole point.

What I believe, with everything, is this: the art you choose is the life you are choosing to live. The pieces you surround yourself with become the backdrop of your most ordinary days and your most extraordinary moments. And one day, years from now, you will look at something on your wall — and an entire chapter of your life will come back to you.

That is what I am here to help you find.

Not just a painting. A piece of your story.
