The Happy Valley is one of them — a landscape of rolling hills painted entirely by hand in oil, where the earth itself seems to have decided that muted colours are simply not enough. Pink meadows give way to emerald fields; a small blue lake catches the sky between stands of deep green trees; and overhead, great white clouds billow across a canvas of soft blue and lavender as though the day has nowhere else it needs to be.

The colour here is unapologetic. Joyful in the most considered sense of the word — not loud, but abundant. Not naive, but deeply, deliberately alive.
